Putellas scores first WSL goal in London City win over Brighton

Alexia Putellas scored her first goal in English football as the London City Lionesses secured a 2-0 victory against Brighton & Hove Albion on September 26. Putellas opened the scoring in the 29th minute with a shot from the edge of the box, capitalizing on a defensive error by Brighton.
