PWHL Detroit announced the signing of Olympic goalie Andrea Brändli and defender Casey Borgiel ahead of its inaugural season. Brändli, a three-time Olympian, signed a three-year contract after achieving success with Team Switzerland. Borgiel, coming off a standout college career at Colgate, has signed for one year. These additions bring the roster to 18 players, including two goaltenders, seven defenders, and nine forwards. The schedule for the league is yet to be released, but play is expected to begin in late November following the women's world championships in Denmark next month.
