PWHL secures national television broadcast agreement with Scripps Sports

The PWHL has reached a season-long national television rights deal with Scripps Sports for the 2026-27 season. The agreement features a weekly Saturday "Game of the Week" broadcast exclusively on ION in the United States. In addition to regular season coverage, ION will serve as the exclusive U.S. home for the Walter Cup Finals and will broadcast a playoff series. This move marks the league's first consistent national television presence in the U.S. market, expanding reach to over 128 million households. Scripps will also provide two additional games per week on its free streaming channel, while regional stations in Detroit and Las Vegas will carry local franchise broadcasts. League officials noted that all games will continue to be available to stream globally via the PWHL website and YouTube channel.
