Qatar motor federation continues event preparations despite regional uncertainty

The Qatar Motor and Motorcycle Federation is maintaining planning for the upcoming Formula 1 and MotoGP events scheduled at the Lusail International Circuit in November. Officials stated that preparations remain ongoing while the organization monitors shifting regional developments. This commitment follows the recent cancellation of the Qatar 1812km, which was intended to be the opening round of the 2026 FIA World Endurance Championship. Despite that logistical setback, QMMF president Abdul Rahman bin Abdullatif Al Mannai confirmed that the federation is focused on the November schedule while maintaining communication with series leadership.
