QB Marcus Washington Jr. commits to Kentucky Football program

Kentucky Football has received a commitment from sophomore quarterback Marcus Washington Jr. following their upset win over No. 9 Texas A&M. Washington, who is currently unranked nationally as a sophomore, chose Kentucky ahead of offers from several programs including Michigan and North Carolina. The Wildcats first made an offer to Washington in May, and after an unofficial visit on September 12, the recent upset further solidified his interest. Washington plays at Cajon High School in San Bernardino, California, and his commitment adds depth to the Wildcats' quarterback pipeline, which includes other future talents. Although his recruitment could still evolve, this gives Kentucky's head coach Will Stein another player to develop as they grow the program.
