Qualifier registration opens for 2027 Boston Marathon

Qualifier registration for the 2027 Boston Marathon is now open, with applications accepted until September 18 at 5 p.m. The marathon is set for April 19, 2027. The Boston Athletic Association (B.A.A.) continues its registration process from previous years, allowing runners with valid qualifying times to apply. This year introduces a Boston Qualifier Selection, adding a random selection for those with times close to the cut-off, approximately 1,000 additional spots will be available.
