Quarterback Jordan Johnson excels for Palm Beach Lakes after recent transfer

Palm Beach Lakes senior quarterback Jordan Johnson has opened the season by throwing 10 touchdowns in two games. The transfer from Palm Beach Gardens joined the Rams program during the spring, ultimately securing the starting position after other quarterbacks on the roster departed. Through two victories over Seminole Ridge and Sarasota, Johnson has completed 38 of 49 passes for 636 yards with one interception. He arrives at Palm Beach Lakes to follow the athletic legacy established by his father, James Man Johnson, and his uncle, who both played for the school. Head coach Turmarian Moreland credited Johnson for his quick grasp of the team's run-and-shoot offense and his poise under pressure. Palm Beach Lakes enters its next game on September 3 against Jupiter with an unblemished 2-0 record.
