Que Robinson emerges as key player for Broncos edge rush in 2026

Summary

The Denver Broncos are likely to see second-year edge rusher Que Robinson take on a larger role in the 2026 season. Robinson, a 2025 fourth-round draft pick, had a notable performance in the AFC Championship Game, including a sack on Patriots quarterback Drake Maye. This increased responsibility comes as top pass rusher Jonathon Cooper faces uncertainty due to off-field issues and potential NFL suspension following recent arrests. Broncos GM George Paton has praised Robinson's potential, noting his ability as both a pass rusher and special teams asset. Robinson's growth into a starter could mirror paths taken by successful NFL players who began lower on the depth chart.
