R Ashwin finds VVS Laxman's press conference boring, jokes about lack of controversy

R Ashwin criticized VVS Laxman's recent press conference as "boring" during a light-hearted segment on his YouTube show. He contrasted Laxman’s measured style with Gautam Gambhir's more provocative media engagements, which often generated significant headlines. Ashwin clarified that his comments were made in jest, emphasizing the lack of drama surrounding Laxman's approach. The session followed India's successful 3-0 series win over Zimbabwe, overseen by Laxman as stand-in coach. Ashwin pointed out that recent press conferences have been quieter compared to prior seasons under Gambhir, suggesting a shift in team dynamics.
