Rae Burrell scores 22 points for Sparks against Aces in WNBA

In a WNBA Commissioner's Cup game on June 3, former Tennessee standout Rae Burrell led the Los Angeles Sparks, scoring 22 points, but the Sparks lost to the Las Vegas Aces, 79-69. Burrell showcased her shooting ability with 8-of-14 from the field and also contributed one rebound and one assist in 33 minutes of play. A'ja Wilson was the top scorer for Las Vegas with 25 points. Burrell started her professional career with the Sparks after being drafted ninth overall in 2022, having previously excelled at the University of Tennessee. The game took place at Crypto.com Arena in Los Angeles with an attendance of 11,178 fans.
