Raiders sign wide receiver Deven Thompkins as free agent

The Las Vegas Raiders have signed veteran wide receiver Deven Thompkins as a free agent. The 26-year-old, who is 5-8 and weighs 155 pounds, has played 36 games over four NFL seasons with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, Carolina Panthers, and Atlanta Falcons. He recorded 29 receptions and 13 carries, alongside numerous returns. A standout at Utah State, Thompkins set school records for receptions and receiving yards in a season. The Raiders will assess his versatility and speed during the preseason.
