Rams acquire Myles Garrett from Browns in blockbuster trade

The Los Angeles Rams have finalized a trade to acquire defensive star Myles Garrett from the Cleveland Browns, which is considered one of the most significant transactions of the NFL season. Garrett had previously requested a trade in 2025 and waived his no-trade clause to facilitate the move. The Rams faced challenges during negotiations, particularly regarding the inclusion of player Jared Verse in the deal. In return, the Browns received a package including Verse, a 2027 first-round pick, a 2028 second-round pick, and a 2029 third-round pick. Both teams are now focused on their future, with Garrett expressing gratitude for his time in Cleveland and looking forward to his new role in Los Angeles.
