Rams aim for Aaron Donald return after Myles Garrett trade

Summary

On June 1, the Los Angeles Rams traded for Myles Garrett from the Cleveland Browns, bolstering their roster ahead of the 2026-27 NFL season. Following this trade, speculation has risen regarding the potential return of former defensive tackle Aaron Donald from retirement. NFL insider Adam Schefter reported that while the Rams' salary cap is tight, discussions about Donald's possible unretirement could intensify in the coming weeks. Donald, a three-time Defensive Player of the Year, retired after the 2023-24 season but may consider returning under the right circumstances.
