Rams back out of A.J. Brown trade due to knee concerns

NFL insider Tom Pelissero reported that the Rams were initially interested in acquiring Brown from the Philadelphia Eagles, possibly involving a trade of 3-time All-Pro receiver Davante Adams. However, worries about Brown's knee, which has required draining multiple times in his career, led to the Rams backing out. Meanwhile, Brown was traded to the New England Patriots for a 2028 first-round pick and a 2027 fifth-round pick. The Eagles responded to Brown's departure by drafting wide receiver Makai Lemon in the first round of the 2026 NFL Draft.
