After acquiring Myles Garrett from the Cleveland Browns, the Los Angeles Rams' defense has been ranked fourth in the NFL by USA TODAY. The Rams have bolstered their defensive lineup by adding Garrett, along with cornerbacks Trent McDuffie and Jaylen Watson, enhancing an already strong pass rush. Despite these additions, the Rams still trail behind the top three ranked defenses: the Seattle Seahawks, Houston Texans, and Denver Broncos. Last season, the Rams' defense ranked 17th in yards allowed. The effectiveness of their revamped secondary will be critical, particularly due to concerns at inside linebacker. Further evaluation of the Rams' defensive capabilities is anticipated as the season progresses.
