Rams evaluate performance grades following 27-7 loss to 49ers

The Los Angeles Rams fell 27-7 to the San Francisco 49ers on Thursday night to open the NFL season. Pro Football Focus performance grades identified guard Steve Avila and center Coleman Shelton as top offensive performers, while cornerback Trent McDuffie led the defensive ratings. Quarterback Matthew Stafford recorded one of his lowest grades of his tenure with the team, completing 15 of 25 passes with one interception. Wide receiver Puka Nacua paced the offense with 74 receiving yards, and Kyren Williams scored the team's only touchdown.
