Rams name Braden Fiske co-starter as Aaron Donald misses Week 1 opener

The Los Angeles Rams adjusted their defensive depth chart ahead of the season opener against the San Francisco 49ers in Melbourne. Sean McVay confirmed that Aaron Donald will not travel with the team for the game as he continues to regain football conditioning. Donald recently rejoined the roster and is currently listed as a co-starter alongside Braden Fiske at defensive end. Fiske, who served as a starter for the previous two seasons, will take the field in the opening matchup. The defensive front also includes starters Kobie Turner and Poona Ford, with Myles Garrett or Byron Young expected to rotate at the edge positions.
