The Los Angeles Rams placed cornerback Zech McPhearson and linebacker Keir Thomas on injured reserve as of August 24, 2026. To fill these spots, the team signed cornerback Steven Gilmore and linebacker Devean Deal. Gilmore, the younger brother of Stephon Gilmore, previously played for the Detroit Lions, while Deal went undrafted in the 2026 NFL draft after playing at Tulane and TCU.
