Rams players participate in limited practice ahead of season opener

The Los Angeles Rams resumed practice on Monday in preparation for their season-opening game against the San Francisco 49ers on September 10. Several players remained sidelined as the team prepares for an upcoming trip to Melbourne, Australia. Star defender Myles Garrett did not practice, marking a continued absence from team drills that began during training camp. Aaron Donald, who recently ended his retirement, was also absent from the field while working in the weight room. Meanwhile, Terrance Ferguson and Grant Stuard worked off to the side with a trainer. Conversely, Puka Nacua returned to positional drills following a psoas injury, and Byron Young participated after management of his knee injury during the preseason. The team has not yet confirmed the availability of those players for the Week 1 matchup.
