Rams sign Zech McPhearson to bolster cornerback depth
Summary

The Los Angeles Rams have signed cornerback Zech McPhearson after waiving Drey Norwood due to injury. McPhearson, a former fourth-round pick by the Eagles in 2021, has not played in an NFL game since the 2022 season. After stints on the Jaguars' practice squad and being cut in August 2025, he joins the Rams as they seek depth in their secondary during preseason. McPhearson aims to impress the coaching staff and secure a spot on the practice squad.
