Ranger Suarez gifts Willson Contreras volleyball for birthday

Boston Red Sox player Willson Contreras received a unique birthday gift from teammate Ranger Suarez. In celebration of Contreras' 34th birthday on May 13, Suarez presented him with a replica 'Wilson' volleyball, inspired by the film Cast Away. Contreras shared a photo of the gift on Instagram, expressing gratitude and humor about the present. The camaraderie between Contreras and Suarez, both hailing from Venezuela, has been a highlight amid the Red Sox's struggles this season. With Suarez's birthday approaching on August 26, attention turns to whether Contreras will reciprocate with a gift.
