Rangers add Ben Peoples to bullpen, option Winston Santos to AAA

The Texas Rangers have added relief pitcher Ben Peoples to their roster, purchasing his contract from AAA Round Rock on July 2, 2026. To create space for Peoples, the team has optioned Winston Santos back to AAA. Peoples was acquired from the Chicago White Sox earlier this week and has shown strong performance in AAA, posting a 2.39 ERA over 37 innings this season. The 25-year-old righthander is expected to contribute to the Rangers’ middle relief.
