Rangers defender John Souttar nears transfer to Greek club Aris Thessaloniki

Rangers defender John Souttar is close to finalizing a move to Greek side Aris Thessaloniki. The 29-year-old Scotland international has been deemed surplus to requirements at Ibrox. In other Scottish football developments, Hibernian intend to send midfielders Jacob MacIntyre and Rudi Molotnikov on loan to Arbroath. Arbroath also nears the acquisition of former St Mirren and Hibernian midfielder Kyle Magennis, who is a free agent following his departure from Kilmarnock. Elsewhere, Dunfermline Athletic may request fixture postponements due to seven players receiving international call-ups. Meanwhile, forward Noah Okafor has retired from international football ahead of Switzerland's upcoming Nations League matches against Scotland, and Vancouver Whitecaps midfielder Ryan Gauld has reached a personal milestone of 50 goals and 50 assists.
