Rangers fall to Astros as offensive struggles continue with bases loaded

The Texas Rangers lost 5-4 to the Houston Astros on August 1 at Daikin Park. The Rangers struggled with runners in scoring position, going 1 for 7 during the game and failing to convert key opportunities. Manager Skip Schumaker noted the team's ongoing issues in clutch situations, as they are on pace to be among the worst teams historically with the bases loaded, holding a.458 OPS in those scenarios this season. Texas has only managed three hits in their last four games with runners in scoring position, highlighting their offensive woes as the season progresses.
