The New York Rangers have appointed Jay Leach as head coach of the AHL's Hartford Wolf Pack. Leach previously served as an assistant coach for the Boston Bruins and spent time coaching the Providence Bruins. The Wolf Pack finished last in the AHL last season, and Leach aims to improve their performance moving forward. The Bruins organization has wished him well in his new role.
