Rangers place Wyatt Langford on injured list, activate Evan Carter

The Texas Rangers have placed outfielder Wyatt Langford on the injured list with a left hamstring strain. Langford had recently returned from a right forearm strain and was performing well, with a.278 batting average over 173 plate appearances this season. To fill his spot, the Rangers activated outfielder Evan Carter, who was previously sidelined since June 12 due to an injury sustained while making a diving catch. Carter impressed in one rehab game, going 2 for 2 with a home run before his activation.
