Rangers recall Cody Freeman and Marco Gonzales from Triple-A

The Texas Rangers announced the recall of infielder/outfielder Cody Freeman and selected left-hander Marco Gonzales from Triple-A Round Rock on August 15. Right-hander Ben Peoples and infielder/outfielder Cam Cauley have been optioned to Round Rock, while right-hander Luis Curvelo was designated for assignment. Freeman has appeared in seven major league games this season, batting.235, and Gonzales has a 1.50 ERA over six innings in two appearances for Texas.
