Rangers sign Anthony Veneziano after KBO stint

The Texas Rangers have signed left-handed pitcher Anthony Veneziano to a minor league contract. Veneziano, who has experience in Major League Baseball, was recently released from SSG Landers in the Korea Baseball Organization. He had a 6.10 ERA in 16 starts this season in South Korea. Previously, Veneziano played for the Kansas City Royals, Miami Marlins, and St. Louis Cardinals, posting a 3.98 ERA in 40.2 MLB innings. The Rangers aim to bolster their pitching depth with this acquisition.
