Rangers sign Eeli Tolvanen to a one-year contract

The New York Rangers signed forward Eeli Tolvanen to a one-year contract worth $1.5 million. The move comes as the club prepares for the upcoming NHL training camps. The organization spent several weeks targeting additional forward depth before reaching an agreement with the 27-year-old. Tolvanen, a former first-round selection by the Nashville Predators, previously played for the Kraken and recorded 23 goals last season.
