Rangers sign Eeli Tolvanen to a one-year contract

The New York Rangers signed forward Eeli Tolvanen to a one-year contract worth $1.5 million. The move comes as the club prepares for the upcoming NHL training camps. The organization spent several weeks targeting additional forward depth before reaching an agreement with the 27-year-old. Tolvanen, a former first-round selection by the Nashville Predators, previously played for the Kraken and recorded 23 goals last season. He is expected to join Will Cuylle and Noah Laba on the team’s third line.
