Raven Chapman hospitalized after brain bleed during sparring session

British boxer Raven Chapman, 32, was airlifted to a hospital in Denmark after suffering a brain bleed during a sparring session on July 24. Following her collapse, she was diagnosed with a brain haematoma and cerebral oedema. Emergency surgery was performed to address the injuries, and she was placed in a medically induced coma. Her management company, Vote Boxing, indicated that she is receiving ongoing treatment and is expected to undergo rehabilitation upon her return to the UK. Messages of support and a GoFundMe page have been set up to assist with her recovery.
