Per her management, she “has been taken off sedatives” and will be transferred from her current hospital in Denmark to the UK. A GoFundMe has been created to pay for the effort, which includes £20,000 from Queensberry Promotions. Chapman (10-2, 3 KO) fell to Skye Nicolson in Riyadh on the 2024 Artur Beterbiev vs Dmitry Bivol show, then came up short in a bid for the British title against Karriss Artingstall a year later. “The Omen,” 32, has been boxing professionally since 2021. Between this and the ongoing struggles of Lee Reeves, who collapsed after a loss to Gary Cully, it’s been a profoundly difficult week for UK boxing.
