Ravens consider trading wide receiver Rashod Bateman amid training camp competition

Summary

The Baltimore Ravens are evaluating the future of wide receiver Rashod Bateman during training camp, where rookie Ja'Kobi Lane has emerged as a standout option. Bateman, who signed a three-year, $36 million contract extension last offseason, struggled in 2025 with only 19 catches for 224 yards. Sources suggest the Ravens may pursue trade options if Bateman does not secure a significant role as camp progresses, especially given Lane's performance and the drafting of additional receivers. The preseason will be critical for assessing Bateman's standing on the team.
