Ravens monitor injuries to Zay Flowers and Zion Young before preseason finale

The Baltimore Ravens are evaluating the health of wide receiver Zay Flowers and outside linebacker Zion Young ahead of their preseason finale against the Washington Commanders. Coach Jesse Minter reported that both players are not dealing with significant issues as the team prioritizes their availability for the regular season opener. Flowers, who is managing a minor injury, and Young did not participate in joint practice on Wednesday, opting for conditioning work instead. Additionally, defensive tackle Nnamdi Madubuike is making progress in his recovery from a neck injury, while inside linebacker Teddye Buchanan is still working back from a torn ACL. The Ravens also signed linebacker Michael Barrett and placed center Danny Pinter on injured reserve after his season-ending injury. Baltimore is focused on ensuring its key players are ready for Week 1.
