Ravens monitor Rashod Bateman as potential trade candidate before deadline

Summary

The Baltimore Ravens are considering wide receiver Rashod Bateman ahead of the NFL trade deadline, as reported by Jeremy Fowler of ESPN. Bateman, a former first-round pick, may be sought after due to his fluctuating involvement in the Ravens' offense and an increase in Zay Flowers' role. Baltimore's solid start this season, with a 4-1 record, complicates potential trades, as they aim to maintain a strong roster for a playoff push. Although other teams have shown interest in Bateman, the Ravens are likely to keep him unless presented with an overwhelming offer. His contract situation further enhances his appeal as a trade option.
