Ravens release players to reach 53-man roster limit

The Baltimore Ravens finalized their 53-player roster on Sunday to comply with NFL squad limits. The team waived 28 players, including linebackers Michael Barrett, Dominic DeLuca, Jamon Johnson, Carl Jones Jr., and Kaimon Rucker. Defensive linemen Rayshaun Benny, Aaron Graves, David Olajiga, and Dion Wilson Jr. were also released alongside wide receivers Cortez Braham Jr., Xavier Guillory, Cornelius Johnson, Octavian Smith Jr., and Dayton Wade. Offensive line cuts included Evan Beerntsen, Corey Bullock, Nick Dawkins, and Gerad Lichtenhan, while quarterbacks and defensive backs like Austin Reed, Marquise Robinson, Robert Longerbeam, and Lardarius Webb Jr. were also waived. Additionally, the organization terminated the contracts of Chris Moore, Amani Oruwariye, David Sharpe, K'Von Wallace, and Jonathan Ward. Cornerback Bilhal Kone and running back Adam Randall were placed on injured reserve with a return designation to complete the transition.
