Ravens WR Rashod Bateman attracts trade interest from Texans
Summary

The Baltimore Ravens have received exploratory trade inquiries regarding wide receiver Rashod Bateman from the Houston Texans. The Texans are looking to replace Jayden Higgins, who is out for the season with a torn ACL. Bateman, who signed a three-year, $36.75 million contract extension last year, had a disappointing performance in 2025 with only 19 receptions for 224 yards. Ravens GM Eric DeCosta expressed hope that Bateman can have a breakout season under new head coach Jesse Minter and offensive coordinator Declan Doyle. Currently, no realistic trade scenarios have been discussed due to Bateman's contract and past performance.
