Raymond Muratalla will defend his IBF lightweight title against challenger Robson Conceicao on August 1 at the Virgin Hotel in Las Vegas. The bout is set for 12 rounds and will precede a main event featuring William Zepeda and Lamont Roach. Muratalla holds a record of 24-0 with 17 knockouts, having last fought on January 24, where he defeated Andy Cruz. Conceicao, a former world titleholder at 130 pounds, comes into the fight with a record of 21-3-1 and 10 KOs. Both fighters have extensive amateur backgrounds, each winning gold medals at the Olympics.
