The stadium where the match will be held remains uncertain as Rayo expressed interest in the Coliseum Alfonso Pérez, home to Getafe. However, Getafe has rejected this request citing ongoing construction and their own home game against Celta two days later. The possibility of Butarque being used as an alternative venue is gaining traction should Estadio de Vallecas not receive approval from the Community of Madrid.
