Rays defeat Astros 3-2 at Tropicana Field

The Tampa Bay Rays defeated the Houston Astros 3-2 on Saturday at Tropicana Field, one night after the Rays clinched a playoff spot. Tampa Bay pitcher Ian Seymour struck out 10 batters across six innings of work. Bryan Baker earned his 40th save of the season by recording the final four outs to preserve the one-run lead. The game concluded after Victor Mesa caught a fly ball at the wall in the ninth inning to finalize the win.
