Rays struggle again as bullpen falters in loss to Angels

Summary

The Tampa Bay Rays lost to the Los Angeles Angels 8-0 on June 14, marking their second consecutive defeat in the series. Griffin Jax pitched five solid innings, allowing only one unearned run, but the Rays' bullpen struggled significantly. Garrett Cleavinger and Cole Sulser contributed to the team's woes, with the offense managing just five hits and failing to capitalize with runners in scoring position. The result casts further doubt on the effectiveness of the Rays' relief pitching as they approach the trade deadline. The Rays aim to avoid a series sweep in the final game against the Angels later today.
