RB Leipzig announced that Assan Ouédraogo will be out for a few weeks due to a shoulder injury. The 20-year-old midfielder, who played only 19 Bundesliga games last season because of various injuries, sustained a capsular injury during training. Despite being named as a replacement for the World Cup, Ouédraogo did not participate in the recent North America tour but played in friendly matches against Ingolstadt and Verl. Leipzig is set to face Leeds United later today and has a subsequent friendly against FC Bayern before their opening DFB-Pokal match.
