Royal Challengers Bengaluru is reportedly exploring a trade deal to acquire England all-rounder Sam Curran ahead of IPL 2027. The proposed arrangement could involve shipping Romario Shepherd to Rajasthan Royals, where Curran currently plays. Although the reports are unverified and no official confirmation has been provided by either team, RCB’s interest stems from their need for greater balance and finishing power, especially after Shepherd's inconsistent performance in the previous season. Curran, who was ruled out of the entire 2026 season due to injury, may be a viable option for RCB as they seek to strengthen their squad without engaging in a potentially costly auction.
