Real Madrid and FC Barcelona lead world's top 20 football club rankings

Real Madrid CF holds the highest enterprise value among global football clubs at €8.1 billion, according to 2026 data. Longtime rival FC Barcelona follows in second place with a valuation of €6.7 billion. While Spanish clubs occupy the top two positions, English Premier League teams dominate the list, accounting for eight of the top 20 spots. Six Premier League clubs appear in the top 10, including Arsenal, Liverpool, Manchester United, Manchester City, Chelsea, and Tottenham Hotspur. Every club featured in the top 20 ranking is based in Europe, spanning six national leagues. Other notable entries include FC Bayern Munich at €6 billion, Paris Saint-Germain at €4.2 billion, and several Italian clubs led by FC Internazionale Milano. The valuation gap remains significant, with Real Madrid valued at more than 20 times the enterprise worth of lower-ranked clubs like Sporting Clube de Portugal and SSC Napoli.
