Negotiations progressed significantly, and Diomande is currently at Leipzig's training camp in Austria, awaiting clearance to travel to Madrid for his medical exam. The deal could set a new record for Madrid, with estimates for the transfer fee rising between €130-140 million, surpassing previous high-profile signings.
