Real Madrid contacts West Ham over Mateus Fernandes amid United interest

Real Madrid has reached out regarding a potential move for Mateus Fernandes of West Ham, as tensions rise in the transfer market ahead of the summer window. Manchester United remains the front-runner for the 21-year-old midfielder but is unwilling to meet West Ham's asking price of approximately £80 million. Other clubs, including Paris St-Germain, are also pursuing Fernandes. Meanwhile, Bayern Munich is poised to sign Ismael Saibari from PSV Eindhoven for over £45 million.
