Real Madrid eyes transfer of Alessandro Bastoni from Inter Milan
Summary

Real Madrid is targeting Inter Milan's Alessandro Bastoni, who was previously a target for FC Barcelona. The club, under new head coach José Mourinho, is reportedly in advanced talks to sign the central defender for around $80 million. This follows Real Madrid's acquisition of Marc Cucurella to thwart Barcelona's strengthening efforts, as the Catalan club seeks to enhance their squad after recent successes. Additionally, Madrid had made an unsuccessful bid for Julian Alvarez, another player on Barcelona's radar. If Mourinho approves the deal, Bastoni could bolster Madrid’s defense alongside current players Antonio Rudiger and Dean Huijsen.
