Real Madrid generates €440 million from academy player sales over six years

Real Madrid has earned €440 million from selling academy players in the past six years, bolstering their finances. The latest sale involves Gonzalo Garcia moving to Fulham for around €40 million, with Real retaining 30% of his economic rights. This strategy to sell rather than fully integrate academy talent has financially supported new acquisitions, including significant sales of other players. This summer, the club has raised over €100 million through these transfers, aiding their rebuilding efforts.
