Real Madrid names Huijsen as starting center-back against Espanyol

Summary

Jose Mourinho selected Dean Huijsen and Ibrahima Konate as his starting center-backs for Real Madrid's match against Espanyol. Huijsen is expected to retain his spot until Eder Militao returns from injury, while the second center-back position is contested between Antonio Rudiger and Konate. Mourinho's choice of Konate as a starter does not guarantee his future selection, as Rudiger was not utilized during the match. Real Madrid is also exploring potential defensive signings, contingent on player sales, particularly of Raul Asencio.
