Real Madrid pays €15 million to reappoint Jose Mourinho from Benfica

Real Madrid has officially reinstated Jose Mourinho as head coach after exercising a €15 million release clause with Benfica. The Portuguese club confirmed the completed transfer, with Mourinho having agreed to the move. His return fulfills a key promise from Real Madrid president Florentino Perez's campaign. Mourinho previously managed Madrid from 2010 to 2013, during which he built a competitive team capable of challenging for major titles. The club is also expected to make further signings to strengthen the squad this summer, having already agreed to sign Ibrahima Konate and Denzel Dumfries as part of the ongoing transfer activity.
