Real Madrid president aims to overhaul squad under Mourinho ahead of new season

Summary

Real Madrid president Florentino Perez plans a significant summer spending spree, looking to counter Barcelona's recent dominance in La Liga. Reports suggest that Perez could provide more resources to José Mourinho than during their previous collaboration in 2010. As of now, Real Madrid has already signed players like Ibrahima Konate and Bernardo Silva while pursuing further high-profile targets including Yan Diomande and Rodri. This shift in strategy follows Barcelona's acquisition of five out of six domestic titles, prompting Perez to act decisively to restore balance of power in Spanish football.
